Recently, the Polish company ZMorph has released an improved model of its versatile 3D printer ZMorph 2.0 SX – ZMorph VX. This version has several qualitative changes in the construction as well as optional modules for engraving and milling.
ZMorph VX parameters of the operating platform have remained the same: 250 × 235 × 165 mm. Calibration is set automatically, and printing is performed on a borosilicate glass table. The noise level is lowered by almost two times n due to new drivers. The highest operating temperature of a printer head is 2500C. The following materials can be used for printing: PLA and related composites, ABS, nylon, PVA, polycarbonates, and elastomers.
According to the engineers, the printer was assembled with high-quality details only. The company appreciates a reliable product with minimum gaps and vibrations. There is an in-built feedback system with a closed loop to prevent any failures. Removable extruders allow to use a printer as a miller or a laser engraver.
The software Voxelizer allows to manage the printer, set the needed operating mode as well as transfer data via USB, Wi-Fi or SD card.
Technical specifications:
- parameters - 250 × 235 x 165 mm;
- X and Y axes positional accuracy – 14 µm;
- Z axis positional accuracy – 0.6 µm;
