Meet your new instructor: smart leggings by Wearablex

Wearablex company focuses on the production of smart clothes. It has recently presented a new project – sports leggings with the function of a personal instructor.

The leggings have vibrating sensors, located in the areas of hips, knees, and ankles. In case of an incorrect movement, they make signals and hint which position should be taken.

How does it work? For example, if you do Warrior Pose with thighbones turned inward, the leggings will instantly provide feedback and show how to improve the position using light vibrations. The clothing interacts with a mobile application and a holder, powered by batteries and clipped behind the knee. It is responsible for activating the sensors.

The smart leggings have been developed for two years with constant collaboration with 50 yoga instructors. They will be available on Wearablex website at a price of $299 by the end of summer.

Soon, Wearablex will release a smart sports bra for women. Currently, the project undergoes the final development stage.
