Agricool: in which season you prefer strawberry?

Agricool is a French startup determined at growing strawberry in special transporting containers all over the year.

Advantages of such containers:

• they can be established in many big cities;
• containers are designed for growing the same amount of berries as can be received from a strawberry field that is 120 times bigger;
• compactness.

How can berries be grown in any season? Each container has all necessary conditions: temperature, lightning and humidity. Various tests were conducted in order to develop a successful combination of these factors.

Currently, there exist six such containers that are tested.

This summer, startuppers plan to set five of them in the outskirts of Paris.

The average price for 250 g of such strawberry is 4 Euro while, generally, in France, the same berries quantity costs 6.7 Euro.
