New car moves in any directions

Toyota Echo obtained a new design of wheels due to William Liddiard. The inventor readjusted the construction so that the car is able to move both in a straight line and sideways. One knew about this invention since March but the presentation was held recently. Liddiard shot a video showing opportunities of new Toyota Echo wheels. A direct route is set by rolling forward or backward and external rolling guides the car sideways. Besides, the car can move around.                

Wheels are suitable for driving in bad weather and for various road conditions. They can be mounted to any car. Developers are planning to obtain a patent and to enter a large market.
