Typing by power of thought is possible

Facebook has informed about developments in the computer system management sector using power of human thought. Regina Dugan, the head of Building 8, spoke on this topic at the conference in San Jose. The main concept is to transform human thought to the text format without any peripheral hardware. She says that is going to create the mechanism, allowing to enter one hundred words per minute, which will be several-fold faster than to text on a mobile device by hand. The currently existing system allows to enter only eight words.

Regina believes that such technologies seem absolutely impossible, but they will be implemented much faster than might be expected. Within her report, the speaker provided a video: a paralyzed woman could text a small message by power of thought using a special implant. The company is aiming to make it operate without additional details implanted into human skin.
