Digital Wax Systems (DWS) is involved in production of super precise 3D printers and has recently released a number of DFAB devices to be used in the dentistry.

DFAB is a 3D printer which will help dental technicians. It will increase the production efficiency and reduce the amount of operations needed for manufacturing dental prostheses.

DFAB will help to produce up to five components of the bridge in one visit. Special software Nauta Photoshade will select a patient’s exact tooth color and make the prosthesis look natural.

When the patient decides on the color, the software will set necessary elements and the bridge will be ready for printing. The procedure of 3D printing lasts for no more than 20 minutes.

By using a 40-micron laser spot, the device provides perfect fitting and a correct occlusion.

Moreover, the device is quiet and doesn’t leave dust.

DFAB was introduced in Cologne at the international dental show held on March 21-25, 2017.
